nut butter sesame cake
This is a rich cake and has a crunchy top nutty texture and moist sponge its not very sweet but you can just adjust the sugar to taste.

I made this up(out of ingredients I was running low on ) as I went along this morning so all measures are estimates (I never weigh anything)  :w00t:

it turned out so nice thought I'd better write it down before I forgot it, then I thought someone else might like to try it.

3oz sr flour (was all I had left)

4oz pl flour

1tspn bicarb or ( baking powder would work better)

1tbspn olive oil

1-2 0z sesame seeds

2 tspns cashew nut butter (I was low on marg.)

2 tspns almond butter (for same reason)

2 eggs

1tbspn milk

pinch salt

4-5oz icing sugar (that's all I had to sweeten)

put all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl
eggs milk oil in seperate bowl beat lightly
add egg mix and nut butters to dry ingredients and mix quickly
place in lined 7  inch sandwich cake tin
bake in preheated oven on 190 for 15 mins then turn down to 170 for further 10 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
