Cavolo Nero Cabbage/ kale
#1
If you have room to grow this, it is really worth planting if you like cabbage/kale. You can just cut a few leaf's and let it grow on, great on it's own as a tasty veg. It has many uses in stir fry's, soups and all manner of dishes. Freezes well too so always handy in the freezer.

Do slugs like it?
It never worries me when I get a little lost, all I do is change where I'm going

Yes more than likely they do. My niece managed to grow it last year and it did well. I think the slugs concentrated on the potatoes judging by the holes in them. For slug control use nemotodes [sp?] in the soil before planting . Smile

Nearly got the spelling right Nematodes
