i have 3 white campbells, and they have just started laying. but im getting quite a few without shells on.its just like a membraine.its my first time raising ducks. so has anybody have any information on weather this is a normal process or not.

It is quite normal for soft shelled eggs when poultry start laying for the first time.
One of my call ducks used to do the same but if you make sure they have plenty of crushed oyster shell available it should stop in time. Do they free range? If they do, they will pick up grit elsewhere too.
