It's been a long time since I had Marans bantams and I've got 3 chicks I hatched from some eggs ( what else would you hatch them from ...) now then, From memory I think the lighter one is a cockerel (left) and the dark one is a hen (Right)  ... do you think I'm right?

mmm i dont know for sure but to me it almost looks opposite!! (thats me all over,just plain awkward lol)

oh that's a hard one. I don't know but looking at stance and feather growth I would say possibly cockerel right and hen left but I have no experience here!

I wouldnt like to hazard a guess...if pushed i would say both cockerals.?

Patterdales..there is no doubt they are addictive,therein lies the danger.While living with lots,you will grow poorer and stranger. dog run K9

The wattles on the RHS chick appear bigger than the chick on the left but leg width looks about the same

Definitely too young for me to say for sure but...........erring on both of them being boys I'm afraid.

I never make the same mistake twice. I do it at least five or six times, just to make sure !
